It's never too late to begin
Sandy Soaps is Sandy's handmade glycerin soap studio in Miami, FL. At 62, she decided to bring to life a dream she had carried inside her for years: to create, with her own hands, something beautiful, natural, and made with love.

In Sandy's words
This creation is deeply emotional, beautiful, and authentic, because it isn't only about making soap. It's about showing that it's never too late to imagine, create, and start something of your own.
At 62, I decided to bring to life a dream I had carried inside me: to create, with my own hands, something beautiful, natural, and made with love. That's how this project of handmade glycerin soaps was born, and it means much more than a business. It marks a new stage of my life, one where I chose to believe again in my ideas, in my creativity, and in everything I can still learn and build while keeping my freedom.
I've always believed age shouldn't be a limit to starting something new. On the contrary, the years give us experience, patience, sensitivity, and a different way of appreciating the little things.
Every soap I make is born from that hope. I like to imagine it reaching someone's hands as a small gesture of love, whether to care for their skin, to give as a gift, to celebrate a special moment, or simply to say: "I thought of you." That's why each piece carries something of me: dedication, tenderness, creativity, and the wish to offer something handmade and special.
This project is also a message to myself and to everyone who has ever thought it's too late:
- It's never too late to dream.
- It's never too late to learn.
- It's never too late to create.
- And it's never too late to begin.
At 62, I'm starting to write a new chapter of my story, with hands full of creativity and a heart full of hope.

Why handmade
Conventional soap is made by machine in enormous quantities. Sandy's is the opposite: made in small numbers, by hand, with time and dedication in every piece, and a little of her in each one. That's the honest reason it costs more than a supermarket bar, and why it feels different on your skin.

What goes in
A top-grade vegetable glycerin base, white and clear. Essential oils and skin-safe aroma for scent. Skin-safe colourants for colour. That's the list. Nothing that would irritate skin, no harsh detergents, no fillers.

Who it's for
Everyone in the house. Glycerin is a natural humectant that hydrates and softens, so it suits all skin types, including sensitive skin. It doesn't clog pores, so it's used on the face as well as the body. And it's gentle enough for kids from 6 months, as long as their doctor agrees.

Soap for your celebrations
A growing part of the studio is favors: custom soaps for weddings, baby showers, gender reveals, baptisms, and birthdays — the centerpiece that guests take home. Minimum 12 pieces, shaped and scented for your day, with a thank-you card on each.
